Hey Brothers and Sisters,
Please send this "PRAYER-BOMB" around the world...
This evening - some of us were riding back from activities at Daytona Bike Week - and were involved in an accident that no careful planning or cycle skills could've prevented...
We were trying to turn right on a green light - and a young lady (at a high rate of speed) - probably 60 mph+ -
plowed into the back of a bike ridden by: Dave Catalano (a 74 yr old BFC member) on his beloved V-Rod...
*** Dave was thrown from the bike (which actually turned out to be a huge blessing...)
*** then the right side of the car hit the left rear part of the rear fender - on back of the bike that I was on -and sent me down, slamming on the pavement...
The car actually dragged Dave's bike 80 feet down the highway (State Hgwy 44)... so we are thankful that he was thrown clear of the bike's path (he no doubt would have died)...
After I got up off the ground - I saw Dave down in the middle of the road - and limped over to him... trying to see if he was ok, and trying to keep him from getting hit by on-coming traffic...
Pastor G. (Dave's son-in law) was helping the paramedics with Dave...
Me and another guy got the bike that I was on out of the traffic...
*** The Lord truly did a miracle in a few different ways... despite the fact that the impact knocked Dave's shoes off his feet (that was vry intense impact)... and he had on a non-DOT beanie helmet... -
We pray that all of you are listening !!! Amen ?
Dave ended up with a fractured pelvis, a banged up eye, possibly a broken nose, and some severe road rash on his head, and other parts of his body.
*** Given the speed of the car - that it was a head-on rear end accident - it could've been much worse... for both Dave and I. We were very lucky to make it out alive...
Praise God for my Carbon Fiber DOT helmet, and thick leather chaps, and jacket... I was taken by ambulance to the hosital, as we thought I might have re-injured my "old back injury" - and also thought that I probably had cracked some ribs (as deep breaths hurt and everything - from my shoulder down to my waist is really sore).
*** The x-rays showed that I was ok... just badly bruised ribs, left arm and shoulder...
Please pray for Dave - that the Lord will heal him up quickly and completely ! He is a really sweet brother in the Lord...
The girl did not have insurance... and Dave did not have collision or un-insured motorists coverage... his bike is probably totalled. His wife and family will probably "not" let him ride again anyway... so he'll probably be driving the run truck from now on...

*** Here's where you come in. If you would send a "very" short note letting him know that you are praying... "Please do not" send typed prayers...
Please make it really short and sweet - so that we can print them out, and put them on a card for hm... be considerate of room for others to be included...
Please put the following info:
Your name:
BFC chapter or club that you belong to:
and what city, state, and country that you are from:
That's it... again "please don't make it long" or we won't be able to include yours on the card,
as we need room for many members, cities, states, and countries - it will truly bless him knowing that you are praying all over the world.
If you'd like to personally send him a card, or a love offering, or ? Send them to:
